I am hoping to run this soon but have a question regarding Debtor reduction on the more expensive items like submarines.
I note that there are two options; one is provided by certain professions and the other is purchased via Professional Advantage points but both state debt reduction of 1-5% with no explanation as to how the exact percentage is determined. I could believe that 1 Professional Advantage Point (PA) would purchase 1% so a character would have to spend all PA for 5 years to get the full 25% but the professional advantage would not require PA's being spent so what is to stop a player from choosing 5%? Also I noticed that the smuggler pregen has a second hand explorer with a remaining debt of 620,000 sols, since the original cost is over 4.5 Million this leaves me with more questions, in order to get the debt down to that level you would need a reduction of over 80%. And since the Naval Officer gives the option of a Patroller or Corvette, both of which cost over 150 million I wonder how the debt reduction would handle that.
Lastly. does anyone know if the Savage conversion from the kickstarter will ever become available for general purchase as I would love to get my hands on that.
Many thanks for your help

In both case you can :
1/use a D10 to randomly determine the reduction or
2/If you want to simplify things, you automatically give a reduction of "5%" not "1 -5%" (I often do it).
In other supplements of Polaris, there is a guide to acquire submarine at a lower cost : the explorer for the smuggler has 25 years (the other ships are old too.)

Hi mate
Have you been able to find out about the Savage Worlds Polaris conversion?
Thanks

No sorry, I asked BBE but no clear answer for now. It seems there is a "minor" rights problem to solve with GWG.

Well thanks very much for looking into it for me, with a little luck the rights issue will be sorted.
